President and CEO of Modec, Inc., Brian J. Kalamanka, announced that it has received a Drug Identification Number (DIN 02293064) from Health Canada, the equivalent of the US FDA. He indicated that MDF-500 is the only licensed product from Sandia National Labs that has been approved for commercial use in Canada. MDF-500 has been used extensively nationwide and has been particularly successful in remediation efforts for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. It has been used to remediate and restore millions of square feet of commercial and residential structures.
