MABAS DECON UNITS

Modec's Apparatus Division was awarded a multiyear, multiple unit contract from the State of Illinois MABAS Organization in a competitive bid. The Decon systems designed by Modec will be deployed throughout the state and the Chicago metro area. The MABAS systems features International Fire Service Trucks. In addition, three more units will be depolyed throughout Cook County in the Greater Chicago area. The unit was recently featured in Homeland Protection Professional

Further, the units incorporate many advanced operational features that enhance usability for first responders including:

Command and Control Center connected to the front cab.

Automatic Pressure Control System for incoming water

Electronically thermostatically controled water heater system

Federal Signal Emergency Lighting throughout

Rear Liftgate system for stretcher borne patients

Two enclosed exterior operational areas.

Interior/exterior roller system with undercarriage spray arm
