A Deconsolution for professional laundry applications. Using the powerful disinfection technology of MDF-500, Modec has developed a liquid professional grade laundry product that incorporates patented technologies originally developed to counter chemical and biological warfare agents.

Product Description - MDF for Laundry has been specially developed and formulated by Modec's chemists to chemically neutralize the residual effects of contamination and odors in clothing and other materials. The patented technology cleaves the molecular structure of chemicals and odors as opposed to masking the smells through perfumes or other means. Can be used in cold water laundry applications, is highly effective in cleaning blood, and works well with colors. More effective than chlorine but without the bleaching effect.

Bacteriostatic Activity – Used as directed, MDF Laundry is effective against mold and mildew as a static agent.  MDF imparts a durable bacteriostatic and fungistatic surface onto clothing and materials.

Residual Self-Sanitization – MDF provides the unique benefit of residual self-sanitization that becomes imparted in the material after washing.  This protective barrier provides freshness and combats deterioration and discoloration caused by bacteria and fungi.  Shown to prevent 99.9% of the growth of foot fungus on socks.

Technology The US Government developed the underlying technology at Sandia National Laboratories and patented the Formulation pursuant to US Patent 6,566,574 B1. Modec's Decon Formulas are commercially manufactured by Modec pursuant to its license 00-C00872 with Sandia Corp.
